Color

In Art and Design

This is our opportunity to define the role of the designer in comparison to that of the artist. Color is our shared ground—it is an essential element of expression. But while for the artist, color reflects an inner thought—serving as a mirror of the moment, untouched by trends—for us as designers, it functions as an ecosystem. It is a brand’s value-driven tool, and it must anticipate new trends.

Sometimes it’s a single color—the color of a logo, the very identity of a company. Other times, it’s a nuanced palette of tones, carefully chosen to empathetically communicate a specific concept.

We build identities meant to last. The artist captures a feeling of the soul that holds the essence of humanity.

We speak to a defined audience, delivering a clear message designed to dazzle. The artist creates an artwork that belongs to its time—and to each viewer, it becomes something different, something personal.

A new project is born for the wine line Ritratti

…where color takes center stage in a highly contemporary storytelling approach, becoming a symbol of environmental and production sustainability. Ritratti is a wine collection that, since its debut in the 1980s, has always relied on an artist for its visual representation. The poetry of artistic interpretation became intertwined with the poetry of the product.

Today, the line’s restyling is once again entrusted to a contemporary and forward-looking artist, who has interpreted the value of the territory through a new lens. The collaboration between the winery, the artist, and our studio required the construction of a language that could blend the artist’s spiritual essence with the winery’s strategic needs—seeking a design translation capable of presenting this vision to the market.

A subtle fil rouge of emotional (artistic) and functional (design and marketing) balances.
