AI & Design

How the industry is changing

AI is no longer just a futuristic concept—it’s already revolutionizing the world of design. It’s a tool that redefines our creative approach, enhances workflows, and opens up new expressive possibilities. As always, it’s curiosity that drives us to experiment with an innovative spirit, especially during the early stages of a project. Nothing is taken away from our hands-on skills or the conceptual control of our work. In fact, artificial intelligence doesn’t replace the designer—it empowers them.

Advanced tools for image generation, pattern recognition, and automation allow us to explore endless variations in a fraction of the time, speeding up the creative process and leaving more room for experimentation. Generative algorithms, color palettes, and layouts enable us to test new compositions with a speed that was once unthinkable. But it is always the human eye that decides, refines, and brings personality to the final design.

Ethics & AI: The Designer’s Role Remains Central

Despite the advantages, it’s essential to approach this topic with awareness. The use of artificial intelligence raises ethical questions about authorship and image rights, the uniqueness of design, and the responsible use of technology. As designers, our task is to integrate AI ethically—using it as a tool to enhance human creativity, not to replace it.

For us, it’s a resource that helps push boundaries—sometimes surprising us, sometimes not. Occasionally, the result is worth discarding. But then again, that happens with our pencil sketches too.
